Critical question:
Do you know the physical and mental warning signs of sleep debt?
Let me ask you -- have any of these happened to you?

    - Had trouble keeping eyes open/head up
    - Missed a gear or braked too late
    - Frequent yawning, nodding off
    - Hallucinations    -
    - Failed to check your mirrors

Can it get worse?  Yes it can.
Here are a few habits that make fatigue worse.

Driving long distances without rest breaks
    Driving on long, boring roads
Dehydration – your body needs around 8 glasses of water every day.

Did you know that fatigue accidents are typically:
     > One person in the vehicle
     > Between the hours of midnight and 6 a.m.
     > Head-on collisions - no attempt at avoiding the crash
     > Deadly

Remember this … a vehicle coming straight at you might have a sleeping driver at the wheel! It’s up to you to be alert and take avoiding action.

FATIGUE … it can put you to rest permanently.

Up next – your biological clock. Tick Talk!!
