 ... let’s go for a walk

I would encourage you to get walking by adding a few extra steps to your day.

I know you've heard this before but regular physical activity will improve your sleep, increase your alertness and make you feel healthier.  Unfortunately many commercial drivers’ busy and irregular schedules make it difficult for them to find the time for regular exercise.  A new concept called Active Living recognizes that every bit of activity counts towards increasing health benefits.  Ideally one should try to be moderately active for 30 minutes or more as many days of the week as possible.  Walking is the easiest and most affordable exercise you can do.  Activity time can be accumulated throughout the day in five or ten minute intervals.

If this sounds like a lot, start with a short walk, walk the dog, take the stairs instead of an elevator, park your vehicle farther away, go for a walk with a friend, and watch it add up.
